How many hours of wedding photography fit your day in Ludwigsburg?

How long should your wedding photographer stay? The question gets easier when you first think of the pictures you’d miss. For some it’s the hugs after the registry. For others it’s a speech that only starts after dinner.
If you marry in Ludwigsburg and celebrate nearby, time between places counts too. The following examples are planning aids — play them through with your real times.
Mark the first and last moment you want in pictures. Factor in routes, congratulations and transitions in between.
Around two hours: ceremony and first embraces.
Example: I’m there from 10:30 for arrivals. After the ceremony come congratulations, a few frames with guests and a short walk as a pair before coverage ends around 12:30.
That can work when everything is close and your circle is small. If you still drive to the celebration and want reception pictures, include the move and arrival — otherwise the gallery runs short exactly where you were looking forward to it.
Around six hours: from the vows into the evening.
Example: coverage starts at 14:00 before the ceremony in Ludwigsburg and ends around 20:00 at your celebration. In between, reception, family frames and a short couple session can fit. Whether the first speech or cake cutting still falls inside depends on your evening.
If ceremony and meal are in different places, plan more than pure driving time for the group. Until everyone arrives and finds seats, more time passes than for your own route alone.
Around nine hours: when getting ready and the party belong too.
Example: between 13:00 and 22:00 the story can start with getting dressed and reach the first dances. If your first dance is later, coverage starts later — or we discuss a longer window.
The decision also depends on whose moments matter. Maybe you want to see guests arrive while you’re still getting ready. Or pictures of people finally sharing the dance floor after dinner. Tell me — then we shape coverage to your day.
- Note first and last important moments with approximate times.
- For place changes include walking and arrival time.
- Before booking, clarify how extra time is handled.
